Recruiting the next generation at Unilever

Who the hell

Unilever

Unilever is a multi-national consumer goods company that produces food, beverages, cleaning agents and personal care products. They are one of the largest consumer goods companies in the world, producing products in around 190 countries.

What the hell

I joined forces with Unilever, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, to reposition the brand for recruiting younger talent to offices worldwide. Unilever wanted to shine a light on its purpose-driven careers and thriving culture.

I designed a network of more than 10 newly-designed websites, an interactive online game for college students, and a fresh visual direction for the brand. Each site should reflect the personalities of every targeted demographic while capturing the bright and innovative spirit of Unilever’s brand truth.

Unilever challenged us to represent their expansive family of brands online. I designed an interactive carousel that aligned the brands with their associated career opportunities.

Unigame provides college students with the change to compete for internships and travel. I reimagined the experience of participating in Unigame and redesigned an interface to match, creating a more inviting space for Unilever employs to gamify their career and engage with their mission.

Unilever’s Sustainable Living initiative provides a powerful context for a purpose-driven career, and most importantly, it’s a fundamental brand truth. I put Unilever’s Sustainable Living initiative on display across the web, leading with purpose, and highlighting a vibrant culture built on a cause.
